A few weeks ago I was suffering the interwebs and spotted the image above. The first thought in my mind was wow that looks pretty dam good. The second after I read the recipe was ” yea this is watered down wine and its not going to get me white girl wasted”. If you like to be classy and control yourself her is the original recipe.
My version is purer and tastes better! Warning watch out for the ROSEMARY I used too much and it came out well Rosemaryyyyyy and Herby.
1 Granny Smith apple
1 Cup of Frozen Blueberrys
1 heaping Cup Fresh cranberries
1 large Sprig rosemary( If you are letting it sit over night then you may want to take it out, THIS shit is strong)
1 Bottle Pinot grigio
¼ cup sugar
Chop the apples into bit size pieces
Cut the cranberries in half ( you can skip this if you dont like your sangria sour)
Add sugar to taste
Add wine mix and taste
Add frozen blueberries instead of ice. No one wants watered down wine!
Last STEP DRINK UP!!!
Now you see how there is a lot of rosemary in my holiday sangria? DONT USE THAT MUCH. Use Maybe one/ two stems that’s it!

NV Spicy Vines Signature California Spiced Wine 750 mL
Somehow the ancient cultural traditions born of Egyptian pharaohs, Greek philosophers and European fairy takes have forged with the newfangled liberal ideas of modern California winemaking, resulting in this brazen hybrid of old and new worlds: A blend of California reds and brandy, lightly infused with fruit and spice. A wine so diverse that it can be served in a wine glass with dinner, heated in a special mug on a cold night, chilled with fruit on a hot summer day or combined with spirits to form an unexpected cocktail.

A Few weeks ago One of my friends arranged a wine tour for his wife’s 40th birthday party. The whole day was a blast minus the traffic and running out of ice for the Arnold Palmers Special Ice Tea.
The most notable and memorable part was the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard Wine Tasting . (There may have a few other alcoholic beverage tasted prior too and after which may or may not have limited my memory of the day). Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard is very interesting to say the least the location is fairly large and has multiple separated areas. Each area functions that ranged from live music to food. Most importantly lots of seating space. Each person was given 4 tickets or “Tastings” . I doubled up to a premium on one of my tastes. I dont remember which one it was but my tasting included the Merlot 2007, Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 and Cabernet Franc 2012.
This Merlot exhibits aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum, underscored with slight accents of smoke and vanilla from the oak. The palate is rich and structured with sufficient but mild tannins and a long, lingering finish. It has bottle-aged gracefully and will continue as such for countless years.
Cabernet Sauvignon’s richness is first noticeable in its deep red color. It offers up similar richness to the taste with its dark fruit aromas and flavors of black cherry and black currant with dark chocolate. Accents of coffee and smoke can be attributed to the oak influence. The tannins are subtle and firm, giving this wine great structure and superb aging potential.
Cabernet Franc is softer and fruitier than the Cabernet Sauvignon and its earthier character consists of tastes and aromas of cherry, blackberry and vanilla with an herbal, white pepper and bramble fruit aroma. The tannins are soft and gentle, and the finish is smooth with a rounded palate.
Yes you have read the title correctly. The game that has broken that has broken friendships and ruined more family events then we can count has a off shoot called Wine-Opoly. How bad… I mean good of a time can mixing a alcoholic beverage with all the chaos that Monopoly brings? Look don’t even waste your time We all know you were hitting the sauce when no one was looking its okay. We all do it. Hell my group has a no Monopoly rule for all family orientated events. Just because they think that two of the people may or may not always end up fighting and or arguing over rules. Hey you should really buy the Wine-Opoly Monopoly Board Game, We are just loud fucking assholes. :shrugs shoulders: Link is below or just click the picture above or the amazon thing below.
Look your family events suck anyway might as well spice shit up. Worst thing that can happen is they will not invite you back next year.

Three Guys from Brooklyn. Does not sound like much but its one of the best stores in Brooklyn. Large selection, helpful workers… Blah blah blah. They have a great selection of olives and other pickled products. They are not like the pickle guy or sahadi’s but what the hell when you just need somethings above the basics its perfect.
WE ARE NOT BASIC BITCH SAYS NO TO CANNED OLIVES. LETS REPEAT THAT AGAIN NOT CANNED OLIVES OR EVEN JARS. Olives are supposed to be in barrels not cans. You don’t need to taste the metal or staleness. You need that fresh, clean, crisp taste that will boost the flavor of your wine and cheese. DONE
The term “Peace Pipe” arose from the Native American and the idea that smoking the pipe signified peace and friendship. It is an “Honor” to be selected to hold a peace pipe. It is believed it will give the keeper great powers as long as they live an honorable life.
Peace Pipe Malbec Reserve has an intense ruby red color. Complex and elegant nose with a delicate combination of red fruits and spices, combined with notes of vanilla and chocolate. This wine can be a great companion for well-seasoned meats.
I think you should try it just so you can try it you kno
