Let’s get straight to it: Bingo Loco is absolutely worth it. It’s every bit as wild, loud, and chaotic as it looks online, and yes, it’s just plain fun.
Tickets ran about $45, and the night kicked off around 5 PM, wrapping up near 10:30 PM — which, for New York City, is a total steal. You can buy tickets easily through BucketListers, and once you’re in, it’s go time.
The Setup
The event takes place at HK Hall, which is surprisingly organized and clean for something that chaotic. If you want prime seats, get there early — the downstairs area fills up fast. We ended up on the balcony, which turned out fine since you can still see everything and have room to breathe.
Once the show starts, the MC keeps the crowd lit — high energy, good music, and no dull moments. It’s like bingo meets rave meets comedy show.
They run about five or six rounds of bingo, each with random, ridiculous prizes. To give you an idea:
- A shiny helmet
- A plastic male “sculpture” with specific adult purposes
- A guitar
- And the grand prize — a trip for two to Las Vegas
So yeah, not your grandma’s bingo.

Drinks, Food & Vibes
Let’s be real: the food is straight Sysco special —fried everything, nuggets, fries, and quick bites to soak up the booze—nothing fancy, but it does the job.
Service was slow, so go straight to the bar. Drinks were on the pricier side; we got a watermelon margarita pitcher for $85, which turned out to be pure sugar. My blood sugar spiked so hard I swear I could feel my toes tapping SOS. Stick with the bucket of beer —around $45 for five cans —is a way better deal.
One of my buddies grabbed a whiskey on the rocks for $40, not the best pour, not the best whiskey. It’s all part of the experience, though, right?
Crowd & Atmosphere
Expect a mixed crowd — mostly late 20s to early 40s — and everyone’s there to have a good time. Nobody was out of control, but the energy was definitely loco. Think confetti, dance-offs, and even a surprise lap dance moment that had everyone howling.
The location’s a bit out of the way (basically on 12th Avenue), so factor in an extra 20-minute walk or Uber if you’re coming from midtown.
Out of our crew of five, four would go again — the fifth thought it was “too girly,” but hey, his loss. The rest of us had a blast.
If you plan it right, get there early, eat beforehand, and grab a bucket of beer, it’s one of the best $45 nights you can have in NYC.
The Banana Juice Theory
Bingo Loco is pure banana juice energy, unexpected, sweet, and guaranteed to wake you up. It’s messy, colorful, and not trying to be anything more than what it is: a good time.
Just like banana juice, it’s not about refinement — it’s about that jolt of joy that reminds you life’s too short not to play, dance, and yell “BINGO!” over a cheap beer with your friends.
