The Reality of All-Inclusive Food
Let’s be real. You’re not flying to Cancun for Michelin stars. You’re here to eat, recover, eat again, and never ask “what’s for dinner” without having 10 answers.
RIU Caribe understands this.
Coral International Buffet
Coral is the backbone. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Tons of options, vegetarian-friendly, solid pizza, stromboli, and enough variety that nobody spirals.
Is it gourmet? No. Is it dependable and fast? Always.

Shangri-La Japanese Restaurant
This was my favorite. Buffet-style Japanese with sushi stations that actually use proper rice. Not authentic, but better than expected. We went back more than once, which says everything.

Pepe’s Food and Pool Snacks
Pepe’s Food sits by the pools and becomes dangerous. Burgers, hot dogs, tacos, and snack food that mysteriously tastes 10x better after drinking. The tacos are elite in an “I shouldn’t be eating this again but I am” way.
Mexican and Steakhouse Restaurants
The Mexican restaurant, Margarita, offers buffet-style starters and plated mains plus live music. Worth one visit.
The steakhouse came with massive portions. We ordered a grilled platter for two and couldn’t finish it. Everything was solid, filling, and consistent.

Late-Night Food
The sports bar is always open. Microwave hot dogs at 3 a.m. may not be glamorous, but when hunger hits, they become a hero.
Food Verdict
You won’t leave obsessed with one dish forever, but you’ll never be hungry, and everything works. For an all-inclusive, that’s exactly the goal.
