Becca’s birthday always seems to line up with a Yankee game, and this year we had 12 people to feed. Now, how do you keep a group that size fed without losing your mind in the middle of a Red Sox vs. Yankees packed house? Simple: Uber Eats.
UberEats to the Rescue
Lines in the stadium can be brutal—20 to 30 deep, sometimes even longer. I went to check out Lobel’s steak fries at Section 134, and the line looked like it would eat up half the game. Instead, I ordered from the app, and within 20–25 minutes, our food was ready. By the time I picked it up, the people who had been at the end of the line when I walked past were only halfway there. Easy win.
Lobel’s steak fries were the star of the night—11 out of 12 people in our group agreed. Excellent meat, crispy potatoes, and that sauce just hit differently, especially after a few drinks. Grease plus carbs = survival fuel at the ballpark.

I also managed to speed through the line at Petroni for some Cheese Pepperoni Bread, also known as ‘I knew someone on the line.’ See, people do like me!
We didn’t grab Fuku fried chicken this time, but it’s usually a solid choice. Pro tip: get the spicy chicken sandwich, jalapeño waffle fries, and throw on some spicy ranch. Stack it all together, and you’re good. They even had a Cuban sandwich on the menu, though it seems to sell out fast.
Dessert came in the form of tiramisu from Petroni, served in a small baseball helmet. Fun, tasty, and from a famous bakery. We ordered three, but the group was running heavy on liquid carbs, so not many bites got taken. Still worth it, though.
Bottom line:
Uber Eats at Yankee Stadium is a lifesaver. It saves you time, keeps you out of those endless lines, and makes sure you don’t miss half the game. Limited menu or not, you can still enjoy a great meal and a fantastic night.
Banana Juice Theory
Ordering food at a stadium is like trying to catch a foul ball—sure, you can stand in the crowd and hope you get lucky, or you can plan smart and make sure the ball comes right to you. Uber Eats is that plan. Skip the stress, get the food, and actually enjoy the game you paid to see.
